E-Commerce Marketing Manager

This new strategic role in our dynamic and growing marketing team will be responsible for the planning, management, implementation, execution and coordination of E-Commerce marketing for all company brands. The successful candidate will lead the development of E-Commerce marketing plan and drive the implementation of the strategy to achieve company goals. He/she will collaborate with key stakeholders to maximize marketing opportunities in order to achieve goals within the E-Commerce channel, and the America’s. Summary of Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages the Americas’ (U.S., Canada, & Latin America) E-Commerce marketing plan, strategy and reporting to achieve sales and profit goals to include annual brand plans, research, brand innovation, websites, content development, CRM, social, Mobile, specific digital E-Commerce initiatives (e.g., campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, etc.).
  • Collaborates with sales and marketing leaders in the development, communication and implementation of the U.S. strategic vision as well a broad marketing plans
  • Partners with marketing team on all aspects of online sell-in marketing assets as well as leads communication on go-to-market strategies for the E-Commerce channel.
  • Considers end-user and shopper insights to identify unmet needs and identifies strategic investments to drive sustainable growth
  • Responsible for E-Commerce digital marketing execution to ensure defined brand story and marketing campaigns are implemented at online point of sale.
  • Works with brand teams in the creation of launch plans including positioning, messaging, marketing material, communication plan, PR, metrics, customer and sales plans as it relates to E-commerce.   Provides financial projections, and competitive intelligence that influences pricing, promotion, and packaging.
  • Acts as Amazon Marketing Services and general E-Commerce expert. Sets up E-Commerce retailer/distributor specific ads and promotions, ensures SEO optimization and content integrity.
  • Collaborates in the collection and synthesis of broad array of data inputs from research, sales, brand, digital, CCD, and innovation, to independently define the broad overarching opportunities that translate into the activation and execution of E-Commerce plans and strategies.
  • Responsible for the back-end management of E-Commerce publishing, digital reporting and engagement tools for data analysis, and associated Marketing Technology (SaaS) tools (e.g., Salsify, AMS).
  • Responsible for the distribution/publication of content and other digital assets (product imagery, product specs, videos, long and short product descriptions, social media sample content, SEO keywords, etc.) to support online selling of products on Company and online retailer’s/distributor’s E-Commerce websites.
  • Responsible for the budgets, forecasts, plans, programs, measures of success, and ROI relative to E-Commerce.
  • Manages E-Commerce agencies to ensure tactics and activities are consistent with brand and leads the exploration of online direct selling opportunities.
  • Supports and executes the global legal and intellectual property compliance policy and process to ensure the protection and growth of the assets of the company.


Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years planning and executing consumer goods E-Commerce strategy to include working with online sellers.
  • 3+ yrs. experience leading online sellers marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Proficient understanding of Amazon Marketing Services (AMS)
  • Advanced understanding of E-Commerce solutions, including web development, SEO, mobile, and             analytics
  • Experience working with diverse E-Commerce publishing, creative and analytical tools
  • Proven track record in developing consumer goods E-Commerce promotions and programs
  • 5+ years agency/vendor, budget and project management experience
  • Internal and external Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Broad understanding of e-commerce end-user drivers
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree marketing, business or related field. MBA a plus
