  • Overview

    We are seeking a talented Customer Service Representative with impeccable communication skills and internal motivation to join our highly efficent operations team to provide service support to a wide range of our retail customers ranging from Bunnings to Supercheap Auto and beyond. 

     

    The role is repsonsible for processing sales orders, logistics (product delivery) and responding to customer enquiries. The role is the first point of contact for customers and business partners, therefore it’s crucial to have a high degree of service orientation, passionate for the work, our brands, our values and company to ensure all contacts are left with a positive and enjoyable service experience.    

     

    The successful candidate will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to collaboratively identify functional improvements and work closely with members of the supply chain team (such as the Senior Analyst and the Inventory Planner) to ensure all orders are shipped and delivered on time.  

     

    The role involves effective communication within a small team, so it’s essential for those considering the role to motivated to meet and exceed personal and team goals, whilst forming genuine and professional relationships. Finally, the successful candidate will need to be naturallually inquisitive and open to learning a range of tools and procedures.        

    As are all roles within WD-40 Company, this position is an integral part of the smooth success of the small Australian WD-40 Company tribe.

    Responsibilities

    • Processing of sales order and preparation of additional documentation with high attention to detail.
    • First point of contact for customers and business partners
    • Provide customers with exceptional customer service, up-to-date product information and upselling of products where applicable
    • Communicate and coordinate with warehouses, carriers, team members and logistics to ensure orders are fulfilled, shipped and delivered on time
    • Update and maintain data integrity in our ERP and associated systems.
    • Resolution of customer inquiries and delivery issues through investigation and liaison with associated business partners.
    • Investigation and processing of customer credit requests
    • Maintenance and review of internal and external standard operating procedures whilst seeking process improvement opportunities
    • Maintenance and filing of all e-files as per operating procedures and best practices.

    Qualifications

    What You’ll Bring to the Role

     

    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a technical, customer service order processing role
    • Proven track record of outstanding customer service, strong attention to detail, personal accountability and independent problem solving.
    • Knows how to adhere to logistics procedures and stock management practices in execution of the customer service
    • Demonstrated ability to learn and use internal ERP as well as database tool
    • Use of sound judgment and conflict negotiation skills
    • Satisfying, influencing and persuading customers
    • Generating reports and providing summary
    • Typing 65 WPM or better with 98%+ accuracy
    • Knowledge of MS Office suite. Knowledge of Outlook
    • HSC completion.  Additional studies will be taken into consideration.
