We have an immediate opening for a Deductions Specialist to join our tribe. This position is part of our accounting team and is responsible for processing defective returns and issuing credit. If you have experience working in Deductions or Accounts Receivables, please consider joining our tribe!

This position is based in our San Diego location and does not offer relocation assistance.

• Accurate and timely review and investigation of assigned types of deductions to determine if they are invalid or valid
• Identifies and gathers supporting documentation and processes complex valid deductions to include non-compliance
• Identifies, classifies, and gathers supporting documentation; disputes and follows up on all invalid deductions
• Files claims to customers when appropriate and follows up on status
• Monitors impact and efficiency of corrective measures and report findings to involve all parties concerned
• Analyses dispute success rate and report findings to more senior staff
• Maintains files and documentation

• 2+ years high volume AR and/or deductions processing experience
• 5+ years customer service experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven track record of working independently with a degree of tenacity, follow up and to achieve results/goals.
• Proficiency with MS Excel.
• Experience in analysis, preferred.
• Experience in Consumer Goods arena a plus.
